What kind of mobile device do I need?
You can use any iOS or Android mobile device. Be sure to keep your device updated with the latest operating system.
Is my information safe?
Any information you disclose to DDI during your application process is 100% secure in accordance with industry standards.
What if I borrow or rent a car?
You can use any vehicle to complete the delivery. Be sure to register your vehicle with DDI because your vehicle type/size will be used to match you with orders that fit in your car, and Walmart associates/customers may use this information to identify you upon arrival. You may update your vehicle information at any time by sending an email to email@example.com.
What will I deliver?
You could be delivering anything that a customer can purchase through the Walmart Grocery App.
Who will I deliver groceries to?
Generally, there are no restrictions in place as to who can place an order through the Walmart Grocery App. You will be delivering to anyone who placed an order through the Walmart Grocery App.
Can I choose neighborhoods to deliver in?
You have the option to choose the zone in which you complete deliveries You can view all of our delivery zones on www.drive4spark.com. As always, accepting an order is entirely up to you.
Can a passenger be in my car with me when I’m making deliveries?
Orders placed through the Walmart Grocery App are typically large in volume. Because of this, our most-successful Spark Drivers keep their car clean and free of personal belongings and additional passengers. No animals may be present in the vehicle alongside grocery items.

All you need to do is log into the app and complete the short onboarding process.

Order volume varies in each zone.
What does it mean if I haven’t received an order?

You do not need to wait at the store to receive a delivery. You will receive order offers in your app.

How long should I wait at the delivery location?

How do I get the latest app updates?
You will see a notification at the top of the home screen when a new version of the app is available.
What should I do if I am experiencing technical issues in the app?
Many times, Spark Drivers can resolve their issue by logging out of their app and logging back in. If this does not solve your problem, you can contact Driver Support by dialing 855-743-0457.

How do drivers get paid?
During onboarding, you may set up a direct deposit with DDI and receive direct payment every Friday.

How much do drivers get paid?
You will be paid per delivery, as well as 100% of your earned tips. Incentives may also be offered.
Will I be paid for order returns?
If a return needs to be completed, you can initiate the return directly in the app by selecting Return order and choosing the appropriate reason. A new trip will be created for you to return all items back to the Walmart store, and you will be compensated for completing the return trip.
Does setting my availability guarantee me orders and payments?
You may not always receive order offers during your set availability, as order volume can vary.
